It is therefore clear, from the archaic groove-and-tongue thinking of CANSA why the South African medical fraternity is in a state of decay. One would have thought that scientifically trained doctors would value logic and reason as the unmentioned premise for advancement. This is why most graduates never belonged in college in the first place: it scares them to think! Facts and logic are the enemies of perception and belief.
This display of cognitive dissonance by CANSA who, in the face of overwhelming medical evidence that cannabis kills cancer (please see ==> http://ind.pn/1FG1sfe Marijuana can kill cancer cells, says US government-funded research) decided to sidestep the medical issue and to align themselves to what they perceive to be the moral high road. In other words, the brave CANSA is perfectly willing to bet other peoples’ lives that they have the moral high ground. This is immoral and maybe someone should try to argue this with those at CANSA who are not on the share-a-braincell plan.
The DFL crowd are basically the Christian equivalent of ISIS. I have time for neither. I have no doubt that, in the Middle Ages, the DFL equivalent would have tortured their patients to death for the sin of being ill. The premise of their argument is that “god said so” and they think that this eroded and unstable base gives them complete moral superiority. Maybe they should examine their roots in immorality where rape, murder and the murder of every living thing (Amorites) is quite OK. Sounds familiar? Indeed! This is what ISIS is doing in Iraq and Syria. These ISIS “fighters” are monsters, created by religion and who believe in a god. These are people who find their justice in taking a life and not saving one. People who are so afraid that their cognitive cage would be rattled that they cling to the present/past as their “god” fairy tale spirals out of control to intellectual oblivion.
The case is clear: while tobacco (5.4 million deaths per year, WHO ==> http://bit.ly/1eujYbv) and alcohol (2.5 million deaths per year NCADD ==> http://bit.ly/1xXTWYQ) kills more than 7 million people annually, it remains perfectly legal. By contrast, neither the WHO nor NCADD reported one single death due to cannabis and yet this devil weed remains illegal.
Yes, we can investigate the endocannabinoid system and so on and so forth but it will not change the mind of a person whose whole world depends on them not being able to change their mind. Such is the power of circular logic in those indoctrinated in the art of self-deceit.
Thank you for your comment Jonas. We’re with you all the way….
