The D.Day 4.20 Fundraiser Festival started off as a free street party in Maboneng Precinct, Johannesburg in 2013. We weren’t allowed to put the word ‘Dagga’ on the original flyer for Dagga Day, hence the D.Day title.
1500 of you really surprised us by coming to the first D.Day 4.20 Cannabis culture celebration. Eight years later, D.Day 4.20 attracts over 4000 Dagga enthusiasts and has has become SA’s dankest festival for good reason.
The annual gathering of you good folk and great South African bands has flourished, in even the harshest conditions.
Each D-Day has offered a truly unique experience.

Please support our D-Day 4.20 sponsors. We can’t do this without them.
