The Haze Club Case – Leave To Appeal Granted!

By |Published On: November 7th, 2022|

Judge Hayley Slingers has given The Haze Club Director Neill Liddell leave to appeal against the dismissal of his application in the Western Cape High Court to recognize the legality of private Cannabis clubs. Earlier this year Judge Slingers dismissed the case. The matter will now go to the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA). The leave was granted even though the Police, Public Prosecutor and Correctional services (the respondents) opposed the motion.

There is a detailed report on Cannabiz Africa.

The Government is preventing growers who have gone through the hardships to acquire their growing skills from marketing their products in order to give a monopoly to big business leaving nothing for the growers to make. We are busy been sold out by our own government.
