Affiliate Highlight: Cannabiz Art

By |Published On: July 5th, 2022|

We recently asked our affiliates at Fields of Green for ALL a few questions so that we can introduce them to you, on a more personal level, and you can get to know a little more about the brands that are helping to make history in South Africa’s long and still winding road to Cannabis legalisation for ALL South Africans.

This week we highlight and introduce Marylou from Cannabiz Art.

Cannabiz Art

At the bottom. Arts and crafts with a Cannabis theme is not a top priority in a recession.

The Dagga Couple inspired me. I saw a little niche no one else was doing, the arts and crafts, and hoped to raise funds from sales, while supporting local artists and crafters. Finding other artists and crafters with the same vision wasn’t as easy as I thought, especially ones making quality handmade goods.

I support the cause by buying certain ceramics, screen-printed fabrics for cushions, or small bags, expertly made by The Natural Hand, and donating or selling them at no mark up to be sold by Fields of Green for ALL at events or on market tables.

Seeing my handmade Cannabis leaf cushions in the High court, being used to cushion those hard benches, or whenever I saw Jules Stobbs wearing a Cannabizart hoodie or T shirt.

That D Day I attended was most fabulous trading day ever. I made enough to donate to the cause and pay for the return airfare, as well as have the best fun with Gauteng switched on Cannabis community.

Don’t be motivated only by profits. We need to free the plant first. Support the activists.

Grow your own, or support a local farmer. Encourage and support best farming practices.
