Fields of Green for ALL offers all donors a Section 18a Tax Certificate to submit with your Annual Return for a Rebate.
Does this apply to you? If so, please read on.
We’ve prepared your Section 18A tax certificate, which allows you to claim your donations back from the South African Revenue Service (SARS). But there’s one important step we need your help with before we can finalise it.
Why you’ve received a draft certificate
To make sure all details are 100% correct for SARS, we’ve sent your certificate in editable format (Word or Google Doc). This allows you to quickly check and complete any missing information, such as:
- ID number or company registration number
- Correct spelling of names
- Any other required details
What you need to do
- Open the document we emailed you
- Fill in or correct any missing information
- Email the updated document back to us
That’s it. Quick and simple.
Once we receive your updated version, we’ll:
- Add the correct authorised signature
- Convert it into a final PDF
- Send it back to you, ready for use
What happens next?
Your final Section 18A certificate is what you’ll use when submitting your tax return to SARS.
Simply include it with your annual tax submission—either by uploading it via eFiling or providing it to your tax practitioner. SARS will then take your donations into account, which can reduce your taxable income.
Don’t leave it too late
We can only issue final certificates based on the information you return to us—so if you haven’t responded yet, now’s the time.
Our deadline is 31 March 2026.
If you can’t find the email, please check your spam folder or reach out and we’ll resend it.
